I attended Marina's class Wedding cakes-Design to Delivery in San Francisco this week. I made this cake in her class, building on the techniques I learned from her Craftsy course Advanced Fondant techniques. The succulents were hand formed in gum paste, then airbrushed. Beautiful!! How do you get your edges so sharp, and how do you create such a smooth surface with no dimples showing....please tell me!! I have the hardest time with that!

Thanks! This was the first time I used "Fondarific" brand fondant. It is softer than other brands and more forgiving, in that small imperfections can be rubbed out with your finger. For the edges, I just bring 2 fondant smoothers together at right angles to each other on the top edge.
