Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: I made a Chocolate Fudge Cake which I made into two layers. I filled it with a Choc-Fudge buttercream, and coated the outside with same. I made a milk chocolate buttercream and piped a rose swirl starting from the bottom to the top with the top layer overlapping the side and resting about 3/4 inches over the top of the cake for stability. Refrigerated until buttercream set. I finished it off with a store bought happy birthday candle which isn't shown in the pic :P
What are you most proud of? The fact it didn't taste overwhelmingly of the buttercream. The flavour was spot on with a decent ratio of cake flavour to the buttercream to compliment nicely.
