What was your inspiration?
This quilt was a bIrthday gift for my best friend, she was married last year and her colors were chocolate brown and baby pink and she is a country girl so when I saw the brown and pink john deere fabric I was sold!
What are you most proud of?
Finishing it, this pattern is very simple but for some reason I had a lot of problems. I had to rebuild it 3 times! It is also a monster, it is about 104" x 104" finished so there was a lot of quilt to be working with.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure your seams are exactly 1/4" all the time. I switched sewing machine mid quilt and it made a lot of problems. Have fun!
