Materials

Tiger Eye Chips, 3mm Topaz Swarovski crystal bicone beads, brown Agate open flower-donut focal bead. Beadalon beading wire, brass findings.

What was your inspiration?

I bought a 36-in. strand of Tiger Eye chips and wanted to use them all in one necklace. I found the agate donut bead in my inventory which I knew I would find the right use for one day and that made the whole thing come together.

What are you most proud of?

That the addition of the tiny Swarovski crystals adds just enough "bling" to make the whole necklace sparkle. This is pretty enough that when I was being admitted for outpatient arthroscopic surgery on my knee, the office staff gathered to admire it and almost made me late for my surgical appointment. :)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Chips are inexpensive and this is a simple and easy project for a beginner, which looks a whole lot more complicated to others.
