100% cotton quilting fabric and warm and natural batting

What was your inspiration?

I loved the fabric, thought it would make a great stack and whack quilt. When it was finished, the yellow triangles looked like tortilla chips and the kaleidoscope blocks looked like a lot of different types of salsa in bowls.

What are you most proud of?

This was the first large quilt I quilted on my long arm machine and frame. I designed my own quilting pattern.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

When making a stack and whack quilt, large colorful prints make very interesting patterns.

Mary Lou this quilt makes me smile. The design, fabric, colors and name are perfect. I have never quilted but have signed up for clssses on craftsy. I love to see what beautiful creations experienced quilters can create. Thank you for posting.

Wow!! Sp bright and happy! The gold setting triangles & the solid diamonds are fantastic with your main print. The colors and pattern simply scream tropical heat!
