What was your inspiration?
I saw the pattern and it was so cute. I told myself I could just see my 4 year old great niece in that skirt. When I saw the sweet taffy bali pop fabric, I just knew I had to make it from that.
What are you most proud of?
I entered it into the Minnesota state fair and won a first place ribbon prior to giving it to my great niece. :)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Look for pre-cut jelly rolls or bali pops so you don't have to cut all the strips yourself.
