What materials did you use? Cotton print fabric for garment bag, velcro for fasteners, plastic garment hangar with metal swivel hook, 3" wide strips of lining fabric folded in half long wise, ribbon, lace, purchased ribbon roses.

What are you most proud of? THe way it all turned out (for not having a pattern or a clue how to make one).

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I used a plastic hangar like you get at the clothing stores. Since it was a full size adult hangar, I had my husband 'cut' off approx. 2" on either end before I wrapped the plastic with batting, then wound it with the folded lining strips. I made little 'mittens' for each end which I sewed to the lining wrapped hangar. I glued the lace embelishment on, and also the roses and bows.

Something to hang things on is a hangEr, not hangar, which is place to keep airplanes.

Thanks..slip of the finger..well aware of "hangars" as I rent one for my Taylor craft Bc12D...have had my license for a little over 36 years. Flown twice cross country from Iowa to CCalif. So yes I am aware of the difference.
