What advice would you give someone starting this project? As I made the apron, my neighbor girl set up her sewing machine and sewed along with me. I love teaching the next generation how to sew.

We really need to carry on the traditions of sewing. Great job on the apron. Would love to see this in adult size. Any ideas?

The book titled: Retro Aprons, by Cindy Taylor Oates is FABULOUS for adult aprons. She also sells a book for children's aprons. These books include multi-sized patterns for a flattering fit. I trace the patterns on pattern paper and then cut out the fabric. I've made several adult aprons from this book and have been very pleased with the results.

This apron is lovely. I think it would be easy enough to transpose the kids sizes to adult using brown paper.
