What was your inspiration?

The St. Patrick's Day Parade! But I can make these for any team or theme.

What are you most proud of?

My ponchos get a lot of comments. And they are not only cute on but very functional. I made a green minky hat to go with this one.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

You can't make it in a circle & line it and think you can turn it inside out. you can't. I had to sew it as if I were going to close it with a zipper or something. Then I zigzaged the 2 sides together and added a kangaroo pocket over it. I lined the hood with white furry minky, it's long and luxurious and looks wonderful spilling over. It feels wonderful, too. I lined the body with a nice, warm, feely mircofleece.
