What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is a super simple pattern anyone can make in your favorite fabrics! It makes a nice big quilt with border of 83" x 82"

Please note that I haven't quilted it yet, this is just the quilt top, I'm waiting for a shortarm quilting frame to arrive.

I love these colors! Are some of those scrappier logs pieced or are they just striped fabrics? Log cabins always have such a simple and satisfying appeal.

Very nicely done. Looks so time consuming and lots of patience.:) I haven't even attempted to create a quilt...hopefully one day.

Great quilt. Is this going to be your first quilt on a short arm frame? I have a mid arm and really enjoy it. I think it would be great as a guy quilt.

Thanks Desna! Do you think it passes as a "guy's quilt"?
