What was your inspiration?
The embroidery designs, then I found some chickadee fabric package, it was a "sign" that I needed to make this topper. Note: I over purchaded my material and did not use any with the birds, guess there will be another chickadee project in my future.
What are you most proud of?
How cute it turned out. Learned new techniques and feeling more confident about my skills.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just take your time, draw out you vision on graph paper to gauge constuction needs. This step helps determine fabric needs and measurements for cutting.
