What materials did you use? ombre cotton and various cotton prints

This is probably not what Beth envisioned being made from her class, but it is why I took the class, and for my first attempt at machine applique, I am quite pleased with the result. This is to be the back of a signature quilt for my daughter and her new husband - they were married in November and their wedding theme was "Love in Chicago." I hope they'll like it :)

As well as your applique, I really like how you used the ombre to give "ambient lighting" to the skyline!
