Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: There were various techniques used in this project. The design on the middle tier was a combination of hand painting, and stenciling with royal icing and with disco dust. In the bottom tier, I used the templates that were given in this class to create the pleats. I just resized the template to fit dimensions of my cake.

What are you most proud of? I'm very happy with how delicate and dense the pleats ended up looking!

You rolled the fondant nice and thin for the pleats--makes a big difference to avoid bulk. Looks great.
