What was your inspiration?

Simple and elegant a flat peyote weave bracelet that shows off the beauty of tiny little glass beads. Definitely a must-have for the sophisticated lady. A bracelet that will take you everywhere anytime.

A great piece for you to start your journey into beadwork. And for the the experienced beader, just a nice, quickly completed and fulfilling piece.

Techniques Used : Odd Count Peyote

Janet you are very correct. Once the pattern appears, you don't really need the paper pattern anymore. You can use the pattern that you have already woven as a guide.

Do you ever do cuffs using the square stitch? Do you know where to find patterns or ideas for designing square stitch cuffs?

I have in the past but not this kind of cuffs. I personally don't particularly like working with square stitch. Also, I feel that square stitch does not give as pliable a cuff as peyote or loom. If you want the beads sitting perfectly in a grid pattern, then I would actually prefer to loom than to use square stitch.
