What are you most proud of? This was my first project using wafer paper as the branch - it is completely hollow and self-supporting with branches floating in the air.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Sketching out a design first really helps me explore colors and flow, and break the project down into bite-sized chunks.

GORGEOUS!! Will you please do an online class for wafer butterflies, and the one you'll be doing Nov 10th in Chicago??

Thank you! Maybe one day I'll be fortunate enough to have an on-line class for wafer paper, too!

I absolutely love this but the airbrush class projects pics are so misleadingt- I bought the class in hopes of learning to do this and then I read that it isn't included in the class? Pics of what can be created should be in the class projects if this is so- and not things like this that arouse your curiosity.

I'm sorry for the confusion, but I *wish* I could teach a Craftsy class on each of my projects! Here is a link to some of my How-To PDFs - I hope this helps!

Please please consider doing a class on the techniques as they are unique and beautiful. Thank you for the links!

Hopefully Craftsy will take your advice!

So, I'm looking at wafer papier-mch!? What an incredible technique, and the result is stunning! I will definitely have to try this. Your sketch is gorgeous too!

Thank you! The wafer paper will crack and split as it dries if you work too wet or with too many layers initially. But it is absolutely worth experimenting was as you can get some amazing results!

Oops, that's meant to read 'wafer papier-mache'. Apparently this site doesn't recognise french accents.
