That is so cute! The elephants add a dimension to the thimble shapes. It looks like they are jumping over them.

And how nice of you to share your pattern! I think I might make this for my friend. I was joking with her the other day about what a slacker I was for not having made her new baby a quilt! Now I feel inspired. I have to say that tumbler shaped didn't quite do it for me until now. You took it to a much more fun level for sure. I think I will use flannel for the elephants. (:
