This project was made as part of a Craftsy workshop:
Charm Pack Tote »

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Funky, Casual, Cute, Whimsical

Materials

Etchings by 3 Sisters for Moda Charm pack, 1/2 yard of coordinating fabric from my stash and store bought Japanese leather-like handles.

What was your inspiration?

Fabric is always my inspiration and I fell in love with this Moda charm pack that has Paris street maps and french architectural drawings.

What are you most proud of?

My color choices and how roomy the tote is. I can carry lots of things in it! I also love the way my embroidery looks! I wanted to compliment the french feel of the bag so I searched for a french word that really says something about me. Coudre means to sew! I love to sew!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Have fun and be creative! This bag can really be a statement piece. People will stop you on the street and ask you where you got it!

Thank you ini99001! I purchased the handles at a local craft store in Denver. They are Inazuma handles from Japan and I have seen online sellers as well.

Hopefully Craftsy will be carrying the Inazuma handles soon and I will let you know when they are ready for purchase!
