Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Whimsical, Cute

Materials

Moda Charm Pack, Ottoman kit from The Upholstery Studio, fabric

What was your inspiration?

Loved the charm pack, and thought it would make a fun and functional ottoman cover!

What are you most proud of?

Made the pattern myself!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't be afraid of upholstering - it's way easier than you think!
For this project, be patient, and make sure you get all of your squares lined up! I'd also go with a bigger seam allowance, so the top would be a bit smaller and more of the accent fabric along the edge would show.

Absolutely LOVE this! Think you've inspired me to take on the ottoman in LittleGirl's room. Now to find some charms. Thanks!

This is awesome! I've seen lots of quilt-upholstered furniture in the media, and this is such a great way to bring this trend into the home on a smaller scale!

Thanks Catherine! You could do it as a slipcover or upholster it - just make sure you have a good staple gun.
