What was your inspiration?
I needed something to go with a shades of gray scarf. My husband tried the hat on and decided it was just right for him! And actually it looked really good on him.
What are you most proud of?
This hat can be attractive on men & women. I tried rolling it up on the side (flapper style) and higher in front for myself. My husband wore it down low over his ears. I was happy that it could cross gender boundaries!
I also loved how the mohair ended up on the inside like an insulator. This hat is SO warm.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Working with mohair can be a challenge. The main thing is to be patient.
