What advice would you give someone starting this project? I had three matched skeins of MT Vintage and two from a Ravelry purchase which were much lighter so I did the body in the darker yarn, the sleeves in the lighter, and then alternated skeins for the yoke.

This is not a very difficult sweater to knit, but you will probably need to get some help if it's the first pattern you're following (I use standard knitting abbreviations and terminology that might be unfamiliar). I highly recommend Ravelry.com to get help. There are message boards there where you can ask questions and friendly people will help you if you get stuck.
