An old nursing chair, with a restuffed seat, some left over paint for doors / woodwork, some curtain fabric, a piece of trim, gluegun and upholstery nails.
What was your inspiration?
I hate getting rid of old furniture that still has many years of life left in it. Refurbished items make great gifts for young people setting up their first homes.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Apply a thiner lining fabric to the seat first (for practice and for stability) before using an expensive fabric for the top.
