Chainsaw quilt top

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Magical Jelly Roll Quilts »

Instructions

Be careful that you keep your strips in the right order to juxtapose them - I used the traditional 1/4 inch not a scant 1/4 inch

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Women

Style: Mod

Materials

I used a jelly roll and layer cake from Moda called Mama Said Sew - Sweetwater

What was your inspiration?

I was very interested in this quilt and thought it would make a great 60th birthday present for my cousin

What are you most proud of?

That I got it together - just now have to save up and get a long armer to quilt it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Be patient with this quilt and don't go gung ho doing it - you must follow the instructions carefully and you definitely couldn't chain piece as Kimberly said.

Looks great. Borders complement the blocks well. Good choices.
