this is just the pictures of the finished project.... I used jelly roll cotton, cotton batting and a thermal weave material for the back that I would not recommend using - it stretches too much! I like 3 dimensional and interesting textures so I added doily pieces to centers of plain background squares and corner doilies to the edges. (it also hid a less than stellar seam that did not quite line up perfectly).
