What are you most proud of? The modern feel this has by using the blacks and whites.

Check out the book, it's full of great ideas and very good (easy) instructions for this block!

could you come up with more classes like Quilting quickly One. I am getting older and find small pieces more difficult also smaller projects to be made with stips and precuts

Have you checked out the Quilting Quickly II, it's as wonderful, with more quick blocks and patterens using precuts. Love it.

I would love this pattern and anything else simple why don;t you do a course you are great on siple and I love simple and precuts

Yes, I do love that (simple, easy and precuts). Actually have a book on this block and many variations of it with great instructions for assembly. Will list it here as soon as I dig it out. Thanks.

Beautiful (even if I am partial to black & white)! Where can I buy this fabric!

I got them at my local quilt shop, will see if I still have any scraps that identify the designer, will get back to you.

Thank you DeGramma - what a nice thing to say. We lived in Columbia, MD for 27 yrs and often went to Rehoboth Beach but that was before quilting. You're fortunate to live there and must have a great Quilt Shop! Thanks again.

Yes, we do have a couple really nice quilt shops now in this area, one in Lewes & another in Dagsboro (you're familiar with these locations I'm sure). Where are you in Fl? We get down in the winter to Clearwater, my sister lives there.

I'm in Riverview which is east of Tampa, just south of Brandon. My folks lived in St. Pete and we visit Clearwater occasionally. Grew up in Ft Lauderdale where hubby & I went to Stranahan H.S. Got married 42 years ago. Moved here a bit short of 2 yrs ago. We're liking the Gulf Coast - nice breezes most of the time. Our area has tons of Grandfather Oaks. I still have family in the Keys (Islamorada) where I spent most weekends as a child. Perhaps we could meet when you're down. Will have to find a Quilt Shop!!

Wanted to add my source for this block for those interested. The book: Get Creative! with M'Liss Rae Hawley.....A Biginner's Guide to Color & Design for Quilters. Has detailed instructions for this block. Enjoy
