This Circlet is part of a wedding collection I have been commissioned to make. My customer has Scottish heritage and wanted to reflect this in the jewellery she wears at her wedding. We have worked closely together to make her ideas and wishes a reality :) The circlet is made using a variety of Sterling silver wire gauges. The central detail is hammered to add a contrast in texture to the coiling and also to add maximum sparkle! The circlet is 19", which takes the ends approx 3" past the top of the ears, with the remaining 4" (approx) being connected with chain. To make it truly adjustable the chain is connected with 2 handmade S clasps, which I have hammered to not only strengthen, but also to reflect the hammered elements in the circlet, the chain is finished with finished with 2 small peridot faceted briolettes, so that the back is as pretty as the front. The centre stone is a 9 x 7mm faceted oval with a matched pair 6x4mm either side and 5 x 3.5mm oval beads working out from these. The focal stones are set in place using a netted wire bezel, so that you are able to see the stones through the setting. Thanks for looking :)
