What materials did you use? Berocco Blackstone Tweed blend of 65%wool, 25% mohair, 10%rabbit

What are you most proud of? Most proud of learning how to correct a cable mistake three rows down and only have to take out 12 stitched, 4 from each row, rework them, and NOT have to rip out almost 600 stitches to accomplish the same as I used to do!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Read the instructions all the wait through, section by section, watch the videos all the way through before beginning (very helpful to me), and ask questions. Carol has been terrific in answering each and every question posed. I learned a lot from others questions as well as my own. Don't be afraid!! You can do this!

I just love this color, think I need something in purple in my wardrobe!

Thanks, Carol. Wasn't sure if the color would do justice to the cables but it is turning out nicely. Getting ready to start the sleeves. Your videos have been a saving grace! :-)

I agree, the purple is fantastic! I think it's time for me to sign up for this class. Can't wait to see your finished sweater. It looks great so far!

I'm glad the cables are looking good in dark purple! I also ordered a dark purple yarn for this project (Studio Donegal Aran Tweed in Aubergine) and I was nervous about how well the cables would turn out, but before ordering the yarn, I looked around on ravelry to see how well cabled projects looked in the darker aran tweed yarn. Hopefully mine will look good too!

Thank you for sharing photos of work-in-progress! Fr a barely intermediate knitter such as I, these pictures are very, very helpful! Beautiful, knitting! ~ joana

Hi Joana, So glad these were helpful. It was challenging but I learned a lot as you will also. I did the same photography (multiple shots) with the finished product which I called "Christmas Cables" since it was a gift for my daughter who patiently modeled it! Stay with it and you will have the same results. Most importantly, read, view, reread, review the videos and ask questions and read the replies. This course is chock full of great information! I am sure your sweater will be spectacular :-) Marie
