So very pretty.

I am looking at the Berroco Ultra Alpaca Wool, but the recommended gauge was 5 sts = 1" on US 8, that seemed too low for what was recommended for sizing the sweater. What guage did you knit at and with what needle size? Did you have to do any modifications to the pattern?

The trouble with me is, I forget everything after I finished a project. I think I used the recommended size needles (US 8), and didn't changed anything to the pattern. The size of the sweater is finished at 36".

How did you do the vertical ribbing for the button band?

Oops, I meant to answer you here. But please the comment above.

I do not like sewing any seams. This sweater truly is totally seamless. I cast on about 12 stitches on the needle, then rib across the row, before I turn, I attach the cast on (pick up a stitch) stitches to the garment, then turn and rib across to the end, turn rib across, pick up a stitch from the garment, turn, rib to end...cont. this way to the top. Hope this make sense to you.
