What are you most proud of? I had done cables before but not so intricate. I had worked with a chart but never cables on a chart or in one piece so it was quite a challenge. Also finishing a cardigan that fits so well, the waist detailing really makes a difference. I decided not to do the bobbles as I have a couple of cardigans with bobbles.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time and make notes if you have to put down your sweater for a time!!

love arans of any type. My first project was an Aran sweater which I still have and wear a great deal? Is the pattern written?

I had replied to your question but it isn't showing. The pattern is done using charts and Carol Feller's instructions are very clear. If you have worked an Aran pattern before you will be able to follow the chart. I think it is actually easier to follow where you left off using a chart than a written pattern.

I love your buttons. Where did you buy them? What size are they?

Thank you. I bought them at Joann Fabrics, the size is 7/8".

Saw this sweater at the MD Sheep and Wool festival-one of the vendors had taken the class! Loved it! Do I have to join a class in order to get the pattern? Thanks!

Sorry for the delay in answering your question, I had house guests for a month. Yes you would need to join the class for the pattern, I think it is well worth it and Carol Feller is a very good teacher. Good luck with it!

Thanks for getting back to me! Will try this class and see how I do! Was given some yarn that will do nicely for this sweater! Can't wait to start it! Thanks, again!
