I sculpted an 8" filled and touted cake to make it slightly rounded. Covered it in fondant upside down, then added a black circle of fondant on the top to look like soil. I rolled out long log of fondant for the pot rim. I used a couple of molds for the decoration on the pot and them brushed on some brown color mixed with vodka to antique it. I used a clay extruder to made the mossy stuff in the top of the pot . I hope this helps!

Stunning!!! Is that a real bamboo stick supporting the orchids? How did you attach them to keep them upright?
