Cathedral Windows Quilt

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Magical Jelly Roll Quilts »

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Whimsical, Romantic

Materials

Moda Papillion charm packs

What was your inspiration?

The quilt is a lovely pattern by Kimberly Einmo. I was inspired by this to do another Cathedral Windows project from the Moda Bakeshop's Angela Nash.

What are you most proud of?

That I worked up the nerve to post a picture lol!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Use a press cloth when using a fusible. Have fun, this is an easy project!

Forgot to ask.... How did you create the white outlined arcs on your pillow? Very striking affect!

The fabric is folded back and stitched down. It's a fun project from the Moda Bakeshop.

So did you make circles with white backs that folded down to the front and then add the colored arcs?

Both your quilt and pillow are awesome! I love the red you used in your quilt, it's a great effect and your pillow is gorgeous! Post more pictures, your work is terrific!
