What was your inspiration?

I wanted to try my hand at making a cathedral window quilt pattern. After I made one block, I loved the result, but I could see that I was not wanting to make a whole big quilt of cathedral windows. Not being one to discard anything, I decided to use the block as a pocket on a simple tote. I had just the perfect fabric in my stash to complement the cathedral widow block.

What are you most proud of?

I loved the overall look of the tote. It just looked so classy.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Put those "lesson" and orphan blocks to use. Pockets on totes and aprons and pot holders are idea.
