As long as you know the knit and purl stitches, it is actually pretty easy. The pattern has it knit in the round, but many have adapted it to knit it flat and seam it. There's some cabling, but it is explained REALLY well in the pattern. The pattern is very well written and easy to understand. Stephanie Dosen (who wrote the pattern) has very easy directions. I learned how to bobble through one of her patterns!
