What was your inspiration?
My cat wanted to go outside, but we live in a busy and dangerous neighborhood for pets. She needed to be contained in a safe manner. Store bought leashes and harnesses are expensive, gaudy, and don't fit right. I made this special vest just for her and a leash to match.
What are you most proud of?
Designing and putting together this all on my own.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
ALWAYS make a prototype first. Use something cheap ,like muslin to cut and fit until you have it just right. You don't waste expensive fabric if you make a mistake. ;-)
