What materials did you use? I used a cashmere and merino blend from Craftsy's yarn sale, scoring 10 skeins for under 30 bucks! The yarn was a bit more delicate to work with since it's organic material. I had to alter the pattern since it knitted differently.

What are you most proud of? You'll notice I took a photo of my amateur attempt at short rows around the bust; the pattern lined up correctly along the seam because I started the short rows five stitches in. Short rows are like bust darts, which allowed the sweater to lay more evenly around my body, instead of wearing a sweater that's hiked up in the front! No one wants to see belly buttons!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you find a pattern you love, don't be afraid to alter it, we all have different body shapes, so why not custom something to fit you perfectly, something you love to wear?

well done! you are doing so much different and creative stuff! good for you! I just finished the front of my first sweater last night and have written out the mods for the sleeves. not much time for knitting, so it's really fun to accomplish something and see all that you do, too! thanks for sharing!

You are making steady progress, even with your busy schedule. Small steps all add up. I can't wait to see your sweater.
