Cash Iroha Noro yarn. A lambs wool, silk and small amount of cashmere blend. Very yummy.
What was your inspiration?
This deep rich red yarn was my inspiration.
What are you most proud of?
I have knit a couple top down sweaters before this class. I liked that I could customize the pattern. I knit the sweater a little longer that the original pattern. I backed the buttonbands with Petersham Grosgrain ribbon to give them a little body and hold their shape. The buttons were an impulse buy online from Britex Fabrics. They are just the right button for the project.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I would do careful measurements. But try on the sweater multiple times. It really helps.
