I used the Gypsy Girl Layer Cake from Moda fabrics, 6 yards of 1/4 inch doulbe-fold bias tape and two yards of muslin.
What was your inspiration?
The Gypsy Girl Layer Cake by Lily Ashbury for Moda Fabrics was my inspiration. I love the colors. It would also look similar in 1930's reproduction prints.
What are you most proud of?
I like the applique panels in between the patchwork sections. It gives a cute/innocent feel th the quilt top and pattern.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Practice your fusible web applique and vine skills with leftover scraps. The applique is the most challenging part.
