What was your inspiration?
my nephew loves 'Cars'. So i made him a quilt for xmas.
What are you most proud of?
figuring out the measurements. i had no pattern for this. i do not recommend 'winging' it if you are new to quilting. what i'm not that proud of is my fabric choices, but since it's for a child, the characters were more important than making it look 'good'. Also, I had not learned anything about color when I designed this one (now, I know more, thanks to some great craftsy courses! )
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
find a pattern.
