What was your inspiration?
I was asked to make this quilt for my nephew's 4yr old son, Carson. He loves "Cars". His family is moving into a new home and his parents want to surprise him with a total "Cars" room.
What are you most proud of?
I'm really pleased how all the colors worked around the middle panel of the quilt.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid to use a panel as the main focus of your quilt. It's not cheating. It's a good way to build other colors into your quilt.
