What was your inspiration?

I wanted to make a traditional star, and was looking for a block pattern, and found one!

What are you most proud of?

I made it in a day - very easy. By far the largest thing I've tackled!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't let the size intimidate you!

Hi. I'm sure you can make the centre of the star a fourth color if you wanted to. In fact, you can use as many colors as you like!

I saw a Carpenter's Star quilt made with the middle star in totally different colors. Looked great!

The colors popped out as I scanned through all the quilts. I stopped and wanted to hear the whole story. I hope I can achieve one as nice.
