What materials did you use? Instead of Caron Simply Soft, I used yarn from Deborah Norville collection Everday Soft Worsted.

What are you most proud of? Finally finishing! This blanket took some time, mostly because I didn't have much spare time.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Following a graph is easier if you place a ruler under the row you are working on to keep your place.

did you start with ch 140?

Your blanket is the prettiest one I have seen in this pattern! Did you follow the original Caron pattern? Thanks!

one more question I promise! Did you do the puff stuff as was instructed in the pattern? is there a trick to make them stay up on the correct side? Thank you!

I followed the original Caron pattern using Deborah Norville Collection yarn in a multi-color skein. I did cast on 140 and did the "puff" stitch as instructed. It hellps to stay tight on the last "pull through 2 loops" . When finished, I went around the entire blanket with single crochet and then did a round of shells. Jazz it up a bit! This took me a few months to complete but worth it. Take care.
