For these earrings I used Vermeil Wire (18 gauge) which I wrapped around a ring mandrel (ring size 14 or 1 inch diameter) to form the hoop. The beads are gemstones (carnelian, fire opal, topaz, garnet, rose quartz, rodochrosite and amethyst) mixed with tiny Vermeil spacers and freshwater pearls in sizes 2mm up to 6mm. The carnelian briolette is 12 mm. I loosely wrapped the beads around the hoop following Aga's course instructions. Using 28 gauge Vermeil wire I strung the beads in sections of about 20mm (about 7 beads at a time which is more than shown by Aga), wrapped the wire around the hoop, strung the next section of beads, wrapped the wire around the hoop and so on. For each section of beads I worked simultaneously with both hoops using the same beads (I mirrored the pattern). Thanks for looking.
