What are you most proud of? I am most proud of finishing---as it took me a few months longer than I had anticipated. I am also pleased of the many lessons learned from this course. This was also my very first attempt at free motion quilting. Boy, it sure is scary starting to quilt that first block!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't doubt yourself in any aspect of this project.....you can do it! And I would advice to relax and have fun.

I'm just starting my first quilt with the 2012 BOM. Yours is amazing and makes me want to totally rethink my colors! Too late for that, I'm on my 3rd block! Beautiful quilt -- thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much! I learned tons from this project---each block offered valuable lessons on technique. Have fun! And regarding color -fabric selection, you can really make yourself crazy. Someone once told me to take note of something that really grabs you with regard to the color scheme, like pictures in magazines of dishes or a decorated room. Tear out the picture and use that as your jump-off point when putting together fabric. Good advice, I think. I can't wait to see your quilt when finished!
