Cast on the correct number of stitches for the size needle used. Knit every row for 2 skeins. Count number of stitches now and again. The remainder of the first skein (used for fringe) can be used to finish shawl to make it longer if you wish. From the cardboard with the yarn wrapped around it, cut the yarn at each edge, to make two bundles. Take one strand and loop it through each stitch on the end of the shawl.
