Lion Brand Vanah's Choice yarnand size 9 circular needles.

What was your inspiration?

I saw a cardi/shrug I liked, looked at it for about 15 minutes, then made it.

What are you most proud of?

It covers my bra straps so I can wear tank tops and be modest.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is knit from the top down.

Do you have a pattern? I've been looking for something like this myself, so I can cover up some sleeveless dresses. Thanks!

Sort of... I started with 49 stitches using Lion Brand Vanah' Choice yarn and size 9 knitting needles. I knit2 purl2 for a couple inches. Then in knit a row/ purl a row pattern (forgot the name at the moment) for a row or two untill I was at the start of a knit row. the 3 stitches on either edge will were purled on every row. so, row 1) p3, k5, increase 1, k1, increase 1, knit 7, increase1, k1, increase1, knit 15, inc1, k1, inc1, knit 7, inc1, k1, inc1, k5, p3. turn. row2) purl across. every knit row is esencialy the same. you inc1, k1, inc1 the same place you increased on the previous knit row. do this intill the line of increases measures the same as your arm mesures around. I hope this helps, but I am not good at doing patterns. GOOD LUCK and HAVE FUN!
