What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The pattern calls for you to knit each cable panel separately and then sew them together at the end. If you don't like to seam, I would cast on all stitches required and knit the entire blanket in one piece. This is also a very easy pattern to modify. You can add more cable panels to make it wider and add my repeats to make it longer. It just takes a little math.
