This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Craftsy Block of the Month 2012 »

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

Materials

Used a lot of scraped fabrics from my sewing stash

What was your inspiration?

I had a lot of material my husband wanted me to get rid of, but I just couldn't.
As I was surfing for crafts I found this site and saw block of the month and decided to try.
This was fun and pretty good for a first try!

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of the quilt itself.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Give it a try, you might surprise yourself.

Looks great!! I still haven't put the outer boarder on mine. My son Mike and his wife moved out here in January and are staying with us till they get situated. Life has still not returned to normal! Hope to get back to quilting soon.

For a first try!! Incredible. I think the range of fabric you used really works well. Wonder what hubby has to say now?
