thank you Gwen for this, it is going to be a b-day present for a friend, now I am knitting one for myself and it is going to be in grey and a beautiful light soft green, I also added on one of the tiers a little cable/braid design. I knit the cowl neck too. Several of them for friends, haven't done the scarf yet, but I am busy knitting my next cape. Thank you sooooo much again.
