What advice would you give someone starting this project? Photographing from boat can be challenging, especially in the ocean. A fast shutter speed is important and timing when you take the picture to coordinate with the movement of the boat is helpful. Because there was fog part of the time I set the ISO to 400, then set the f stop to 4.0, although I shot at f8 some of the time.

No question (you answered it in previous post - taking photo from a boat) - just wanted to tell you I love the picture! I recently hiked the short trail to the point and was amazed at the beauty of Cape Flattery - this photo of yours gives a completely different perspective that now makes me want to go back and see (photograph) the area from waterside! Thanks for sharing!
