Make It
Instructions
I remember the first time I saw Canyonlands. My family was standing at one of the lookouts and my younger brother (who was pretty little at the time) said, "Look, Dad, there's a crack in the country!" True enough. :)
Canyonlands is a really beautiful place, and the "crack in the country" was carved out by the blue/green Colorado and Green rivers which wind through and set off the lovely red canyon. It took me a while to find the right yarn to embody what these rivers bring to mind, but I finally found it and here's the result.
This shawl is knit "top-down" with a garter body and a lacy edging that is worked on both the right and wrong sides. This pattern can easily be up- or down-sized, so feel free to contact me if you want help with that.
This is the second shawl in my VBM Shawl Collection 2. The collection is available for purchase via my blog at http://verybusymonkey.wordpress.com or via Ravlery, only individual patterns will be available on Craftsy. All patterns contain both written and charted instructions. And 1 dollar from each collection sale will be donated to nationalparks.org.
NOTE: If you buy the patterns individually they will be $4.50 each, you will not get discounts or credits given towards the eBook purchase price after purchasing individual patterns.
