What was your inspiration?
Just playing with stuff I had on hand. Was thinking this would be a cute gift for a young girl. A bag and matching cover for maybe a bible.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This took a lot of patience to paint. I used a stencil for the checked borders. The sunflowers and daisies are done freelance using the One Stroke method of decorative painting.
